Given that quite a number of these want-to-be “free agent consultants” gravitate to the likes of a Corporate Talent Agent like aCE talentNET, you now know where to come looking for them… this comment is based on a most interesting article in TheAge.com this morning, and it starts like this:

EMPLOYERS, beware. Your employees have extremely itchy feet.

According to a survey released in advance of employment figures expected to show another hefty rise in the number of new jobs on offer, an astonishing one-third of Australian workers are planning to switch jobs.

The finding by the management consulting firm Hay Group backs up a separate finding by Drake International that an astounding 50 per cent of Australian workers are thinking about changing jobs, with 25 per cent planning to do it.
